“I was born and raised in Bulgaria and am now based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. I create because I don’t know how else to share the way I view the current reality and my inner world. In every work, there is a piece of me but just as much thought and meaning I put into it, that much absurd and insane I find the whole thing. The way I produce my ideas is an extreme binary, on one side striving off from my disgust, frustration or mild detachment of reality at times, to the point of Dadaist style ridicule of beauty and logic. And on the other, seeing the beauty in the absolute of nature and the harmony it creates with every living thing, the empowering feeling of being a woman and the journey of getting back to my roots. And in my attempt to bring out all the pain and malevolence, whilst praising the reasons to be alive I create an illustration of my confusion and conceptual melancholy”.
