“My artworks all have different motifs behind them, however, they all relate to the theme of portraiture. Through the exploration of this theme, I have been able to understand and express different emotions, ideas, and passions. I make my art depict sentiments that are pertinent to an individual and to the greater society. I am interested in the diversity of the human face and I try to experiment with new styles in depicting faces. Through my experimentation, I am able to discover new fragments of my own unique art style. My overall vision is to put a piece of myself [my personality and culture] into all my pieces so they all individually relate to me”.
