Muskaan enjoys painting faces because she believes they are an incredibly expressive and malleable medium to paint with. This particular piece was inspired by an idea Muskaan had to create a piece with faces overlapping one another that were each different and unique in their own way but still had some connection to each other. In general, she enjoys trying out different shading styles while painting, which guided her process while creating the piece.
